Houses

The House system plays an important role in building community and school spirit at ESU.

Students are placed into houses which form smaller communities within the school. Through the house system, students of different ages work together, develop friendships and support one another.

Throughout the year, houses participate in a variety of competitions and activities including sports events, academic challenges and creative competitions.

The House system encourages:

• teamwork and collaboration

• school pride and identity

• leadership opportunities for older students

• friendly competition and shared achievement
