The Junior School at ESU welcomes students from Grade 1 to Grade 5, typically ages 6 to 10.

The Junior School provides a strong academic foundation built upon the traditions of British primary education. Students develop key skills in literacy, numeracy, science, humanities and the arts while building confidence and independence as learners.

Our teachers focus on developing strong study habits, curiosity and a love of learning. The programme also includes sport, creative arts and co-curricular activities that support the development of the whole child.

Admissions Process

  1. Submission of an application form and previous school reports (if applicable).
  2. A short assessment in English and Mathematics.
  3. Meeting with the admissions team and school leadership.
  4. Offer of placement where appropriate.

Students joining from international schools may be placed according to both age and previous academic experience.
