A START TO INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION
PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION
Our early years education classes are where 4-5 year old children
begin to explore the wonderful world of learning.
Each of our classes is designed to foster development with a balanced combination of fun, creativity,
social skills, and foundational academic skills through play-based and structured learning.
Children will learn in a supportive, pleasant learning environment that fosters curiosity, independence,
and self-confidence, allowing them to focus and express their own voice.
CURRICULUM
By enrolling your child in our school during the annual registration, your child will be fully prepared
to successfully transition to the Junior School with clear future goals.
Furthermore, according to the British educational curriculum, every child enters the 1st grade at age 5,
determining the appropriate academic level for their age.
PRIMARY SCHOOL
Based on British primary education traditions, the Junior School develops core academic skills while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking.
Students build a strong foundation in language, numeracy, and scientific understanding, as well as studying arts, humanities, and physical education.

Students are encouraged to take more responsibility for their own learning process, continuing to develop self-confidence, curiosity, and a desire to learn.
MIDDLE SCHOOL
Middle School prepares students for a successful transition to the Cambridge IGCSE program through the internationally recognized Cambridge Lower Secondary academic curriculum. Students will develop critical thinking, independent learning skills, research methods, and academic English language proficiency.
Classes are taught by specialist teachers, and students will learn in a broader, in-depth educational environment. English is divided into English as a First Language (EFL) and English as a Second Language (ESL) streams, tailored to students' proficiency levels. Students also have the opportunity to choose and study a foreign language according to their interests and goals.
Beyond academic education, the program creates a holistic development environment that promotes leadership, sports, arts, and social engagement. This balanced teaching approach aims to equip students with the foundational knowledge and skills to continue their studies at the world's top universities.

SENIOR MIDDLE SCHOOL
In Key Stage 4, students participate in the internationally recognized Cambridge IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) program, which awards a globally accredited foundational education certificate. This program provides students with a strong academic foundation for further study in Cambridge AS/A Level and at the world's top universities.
The IGCSE program focuses on developing critical thinking, research and analysis, problem-solving skills, and the application of academic English. Students build their learning path through a combination of compulsory and elective subjects, tailored to their interests and future aspirations.

HIGH SCHOOL
The English School of Ulaanbaatar's Sixth Form is a high-level academic program that prepares students for the world's top universities. Students study the internationally renowned Cambridge International AS & A Level program, delving deeply into 3–5 subjects aligned with their interests and future career paths.
The A-Level program develops critical thinking, research and analytical skills, independent learning abilities, and university-level academic preparation.
